encouragement needed

Yesterday I noticed my negative attitude. I am not always a nice person.
Sometimes I make you think I am always nice
always happy
always positive
always encouraging
always seeing the good in things.

But sometimes I'm not.
Sometimes I don't.
Sometimes I am a meanie.
(Chris can attest to that one).

Yesterday I was thinking about this and needing encouragement. Then I read this:

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers covers the earth and thick darkness is upon you peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and Kings to the brightness of your dawn." Isaiah 60:1-3

I was encouraged. I thought this might be a good thing to wake to on mornings when I'm not feeling so hot (imagine it: Arise! Shine!). So, I decided that until I can remember this in my head or make a decent craft out of it, I'll write it on my mirror...

This morning it encouraged.
