Papa Kurtz, Emily Rose, and me
Wahoo. What a weekend.
I am covered with dirt and paint.
Don't worry.
I'll shower... in a bit. ;)
Friday was my Nana's birthday. The first birthday without her.
I was worried about my Papa this weekend, so I asked if I could come hang out with him and help him work on his porch project. (He's livening up his porch).
On my way to his house I picked up Emily Rose, my 10 yr. old cousin.
She's a cutie.
We had 5 tasks this weekend:
1. paint the ceiling of the porch
2. paint the floor of the porch
3. install new fans
4. refurbish an old chair
5. refurbish the outside step
(We had help from my uncle rich, a carpenter).
#1, 2, & 3
Porch BEFORE

#4: Refurbishing an old chair
Chair AFTER
#5: Refurbish the step from inside to the porch
... staying with the theme from before.

Step AFTER
I have to say so myself,
that is one trippy-cool step.
It was such a great weekend.
One Papa said "to remember the rest of my life!"
Despite all the work, I feel refreshed
and adore my Papa even more.
