Today marks the beginning of the Swift/Paule tour from family to family around the holiday season. Earlier in the fall Chris and I planned to spend Christmas together with our families. Yet, when we made that decision we really had no idea what we were in for. We both come from divorced and remarried families with tons of g'rents. For years we have done this Christmas thing between families separately. This year... we are trying it together.
Oh, man.
This is how our Christmas will go:
Today was spent in St. Louis with the Paule family, Wednesday to Springfield to hang with the Swifts, Thursday to Chris's mom's, then grandma's, then Chris's other grandma's house. Friday to Rolla to my house to do Christmas with my dad and sister's family. Saturday to KC for Jenna and James's wedding, Sunday to St. Charles for Christmas with mom's side, back to Rolla, then finally Springfield (maybe Columbia for New Year's?). After New Year's we'll hop in the car with a couple of Chris's friends and venture to Florida where Chris is in the wedding of a friend. Finally, after all of this... we will part ways... Chris to Springfield and myself to Columbia.
ah.
Until then, we'll enjoy the ride (and I'll probably keep posting-we like to make this interesting).
